In 1996, after working with his father, Howard, who had a retirement management practice in New York Ira moved to Florida and established Integrated Financial Designs, Inc.

Ira is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and educator in the South Florida area. He has presented retirement seminars held at the University of Miami and Florida International University Elder Institute. In 2005 Integrated Financial Services and Integrated Financial Designs, Inc merged into Materetsky Financial Group, Inc.

Materetsky Financial Group is a member of the Better Business Bureau of Palm Beach County. Ira`s practice focuses on "Retirement Management" which deals with both the financial and non-financial concerns of retirees. This allows him to use his expertise in investment and insurance planning for seniors.

Ira is a registered securities principal and holds appropriate securities and insurance licenses. Ira is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and his associations include The American Association for Long Term Care Insurance, The Financial Services Institute and The Financial Planning Association. He and his team take a comprehensive approach to financial planning, which encompasses tax and estate planning as well as investment management and wealth preservation.

Ira has been involved in youth baseball for over a decade in the Lake Worth area and resides in South Florida with his wife, Starr and their son, Michael.
